Libby fought the slippery mud and the mud won.
All the kids had to shed their shoes when we got back to the car. Two kids even ended up having to lose their pants as well.
Mud aside, the kids are having a great time exploring the new area and all the different things it offers.

I love how you always make sure to get your family out enjoying nature. Good luck with the whole move and job search.
Some things I have learned about exploring with the kids....you always bring a garbage sack, empty laundry basket, towel or two, extra clothes and extra shoes. Sounds like a lot of extra work, but it makes things much less messy. Also, we invest in rubber boots for the kids each year. It saves us lots of money in shoes. You can get them farily cheeply at walmart. We should go exploring together sometime!
